Svetlana Bozhkova ist Diplomchemikerin der Universit\u00e4t f\u00fcr Chemische Technologie und Metallurgie. Sie hat zahlreiche Kurse und Spezialisierungen erfolgreich abgeschlossen, um ihre Qualifikation als Abfallwirtschaftsexpertin zu verbessern.
Sie war Leiterin der Abteilung f\u00fcr kommunale, biologisch abbaubare und Bauabf\u00e4lle in der Direktion f\u00fcr Abfallwirtschaft und Bodenschutz des Ministeriums f\u00fcr Umwelt und Wasser. Sie war verantwortlich f\u00fcr die Planung, Organisation und Verwaltung der Aktivit\u00e4ten der Abteilung zur Umsetzung der nationalen und europ\u00e4ischen Politik im Bereich der Abfallwirtschaft.
Sie koordinierte und beteiligte sich an der Ausarbeitung und Koordinierung von Dokumenten normativer oder methodischer Art, den Aktivit\u00e4ten im Zusammenhang mit den Verpflichtungen im Rahmen des UN-\u00dcbereinkommens zur Bek\u00e4mpfung der W\u00fcstenbildung (UNCCD) und den Beziehungen zu anderen Einrichtungen. Au\u00dferdem koordinierte sie die administrative, finanzielle und technische Verwaltung der ISPA\/Koh\u00e4sionsfonds-Projekte gem\u00e4\u00df der Verordnung (EG) Nr. 1164\/94 des Rates vom 16. Mai 1994 zur Errichtung des Koh\u00e4sionsfonds (OB, L 130, 25.05.) 1994) und nahm an den departementalen und interdepartementalen Arbeitsgruppen sowie an den Expertenr\u00e4ten zur Pr\u00fcfung und Verabschiedung von Projekten und Programmen teil, darunter der Oberste Expertenrat f\u00fcr \u00d6kologie und der Interdepartementale Expertenrat f\u00fcr \u00d6kologie.
Sie hat mehr als 18 Jahre praktische Erfahrung im Bereich der Abfallwirtschaft.
