\n\t\t\t\tOn June 30, 2021, an introductory conference was held under project number BG16M1OP002-2.009-0036 \u201ePilot demonstration model for circular economy\u201c, funded by the Operational Program “Environment 2014 – 2020”, co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund.

The conference was held at the National Press Club BTA, and the participants had the opportunity to join online through the Zoom platform. The event attracted participants from state and municipal administration, business, non-governmental and civil sector, the general public and the media.

Presenters at the conference were Tsvetomir Kalchev, project manager; Victoria Belokonska, thematic expert Waste Collection and Treatment; Georgi Zashev, Information and Communication Technologies Specialist and Elitsa Hristova, Information and Publicity Expert.

During the conference the experts presented the project activities, its goals, advantages, benefits, opportunities, expected and achieved results so far. In the discussion after the end of the presentation, experts and participants asked important questions, discussed new ideas and confirmed their future partnership and cooperation.
